A Request For Prayers 2 Weeks, 2 Days ago  
I know this site has come through in the past. Regardless of personal feelings, we're all brothers [and sisters] here on the RSC, united in a single passion.

My mother, who would literally give the shirt off her back for a stranger in need, is now in need herself.

Today she came through surgery, to remove a growth in her large intestine/colon, with flying colors. She actually had the hospital staff thanking her for her positive energy afterwards. She truly is a remarkable woman who's touched countless lives around the world... However, now we are waiting to find out if the mass removed was stage 1,2,3 or 4 cancer. If it's stage 1 or 2, she'll be just fine... but if it's stage 3 or 4, she'll have to undergo chemotherapy and Lord knows what... At 82 years of age, I'm very concerned about her ability to undergo such a process...

I humbly ask that you please send your prayers, blessings, and positive thoughts her way, that my mother's results come back with good news, and today's surgery is the end of her ordeal, and she has a speedy recovery.
