The kit will take the fender down another inch and a half or so over your tire (which is already up into your fender if the bike is lowered) so you would likely run into tire-fender clearance problems at that point. The offsets on the brackets and spacers are machined for a set amount of lowering of the fender. It bolts into place rigidly at that amount. Not a varying adjustable thing. I have both lowered but the two up bike has adjustable dog bones and I am not happy with the handling with the wife on it lowered so this adapter looks appealing. Only I had the relay flip instead of the dog bone lower. Once my wife and I scraped my Cobra exhaust on one off-cambered corner I said that's it, I'm done. Flipped my relay around and made the kit and that worked for me to have the best of both. Even for my one-up riding it has been so much better because I tend to corner hard. I got tired of hitting my boards and frame ever so often.
