A guy in Jersey built that bike last year. It was highly influenced by the one you are talking about.

I've owned a half a dozen of those XS650's. Absolutely love 'em!

My first one was a '72, the red and white one... prettiest paint they ever put on 'em.

I rode that across the nation 3 times in '73 and '74 when I was in the Army and taking one month leave.

I'd buy another again in a heartbeat!

Great bike stock or modified.

Remember guys a 650 was a big bike in its day. I rode plenty of 650's and smaller all over the place.

XS650 has a sweet tight little package for doing builds with of any kind. I'd chop one but it would look way too small under me.
