Just added to my stable. 2 Weeks, 5 Days ago
Went Roadieless last year as I decided to by a 1997 Road King last spring just because I always wanted one. Well needless to say, I have put more money in to that bike to get it right than I will ever get back. I barely road it. I'm about ready to give it away just to get it out of my sight. Spent most of my riding on my 2008 RSV which I have no complaints about, but it would have been nice to get a few more miles on the RK instead of spending money and working on it all the time.

Finally bought a RS that was worth buying and at a great price. It's a 2009. You know, the fastest one, the red one. Like BikerRon's. Couldn't take it for a test drive due to all the ice in the driveways here in NH. Didn't have to. It sounded great and looked mint. Well taken care of. The funny thing is, it's literally 5 minutes from my house and I couldn't take it home. I will pick it up as soon as the ice melts.

Can't wait to get it in my shop to start working on it. It's gonna be my solo rider. I got big plans for it I tell ya. Big, big plans!

She's gonna look purdy in the stable. Oh yeah, and riding down the road.

I would have a hard time trading my Roadstar for another HD.
Red is fast, but black (like my 06 Midnight) is faster!

Welcome back to the R* cult. Glad you came to your senses and quit drinking the. KoolAid. Black is just as fast as red but stealthier. You can hear it coming but you can't see it.

This bike is Fuel Injected. First time I have owned one like that. It's a mystery to me though. Where did they inject the fuel? Does that mean that the gas tank is only on the bike for looks since the bike is already injected with fuel somewhere?

Nice looking ride!! I almost went with a RK after I totaled my 04 this past summer but I'm glad I bought it back and fixed it.

Once a R*, always a R*. Hear to many story's that riders for fill there old dreams and by a HD and the next step is a empty wallet. Here its the same, a lot of them are glad that the HD is out again and the Roadie is back.

Re:Just added to my stable. 2 Weeks, 4 Days ago
The guy that sold the bike to me said that he rides with all HD riders. Said that the HD guys told him that he would regret selling it. I just kept my mouth shut. Told him that Roadies just don't sell no matter what condition they are in, He agreed as he had it for sale on FB Marketplace for months (something I didn't know about until a week ago as I have never been on F. I used my wife's account to contact him.

Hate to say it, but I would up talking down to 2k cash for it and he jumped on it. He was asking originally asking 3400 for it which was a great price. I am ecstatic. He gave me the original drivers seat (has a mustang seat on it now), 4 new spark plugs, 2 oil filters, the original backrest and a USA fairing painted to match the bike with 4 marine speakers, marine receiver with an amp. Also gave me the stock mufflers and the stock windshield. It's a bolt on but I have a quick detach for a Roadie stored up stairs in my barn that I will use instead. I will make the fairing detachable also. It has Cobra slash cut slipon mufflers that I don't care for so I am planning on either putting a set of V&H longshots that I have with Bungs for the FI that have to be welded on or going to true dual headers with HD Monster Round mufflers that I have sitting around.

Can't wait to get it in my shop.
