Well its a go everyone. The backrest assembly is being powdered coated as we speak and the upholstery outfit will have the armrests and back pad completed by Wednesday. It was tough but we got the commits so we could use it on the June 7th Rock and Roll MDA ride. Travis is excited and also plans to wear the newly arrived Road Star Clinic Forum shirt (thank you Warren) along with myself. Pictures and video will be made available to all. Everyone's donations have helped in this project immensely. Without everyone's generosity and time it would have been difficult to complete. Both Travis and I thank all who donated for this project. I hope to include all the names and businesses on the upcoming You Tube video.

Here it is back from powder coat and waiting for the pads. The sheen matches the saddlebag frame.

The MDA 2014 ride was a huge success! Travis did 105 miles on the road trip on the open road and through the mountains and canyons. What a trooper. He said the backrest was amazing and had no complaints. To be honest I never thought he would last that long on the motorcycle. We wore our Road Star Clinic shirts and many people commented on them. We were told that it may get cold in the mountains so Harley Davidson gave Travis a really nice wind breaker jacket to wear till we got through that section of coldness. Also Ragnarok MC gave Travis a really nice hat and bandana to wear. The backrest you can imagine was the talk of the event and got a LOT of spectators. It was a stressful and nervous day for me and the wife but we did it with everyone's help. When the ride was over we got to watch Queensryche perform Amazing band and show. Travis and I want to thank EVERYONE involved in this project meaning donations, technical advice and anything else. The outpouring of help was just amazing and we are very thankful and grateful.
