Good morning, I have been reading this forum for a while. Learned that I made a good choice with the Roadstar. I was away from riding for over 30 years, then got back to it 5 years ago with a 2006 V-Star 650. Rode it for 3 years and tho it was a great bike, I wanted more. It was a great bike (650) to get back in the game.

In the fall of 2011 I found this 2007 R* Midnight Silverado with only only 2026 miles on it. Tried it out and couldn't believe the guts and torque it has. It took some time to get use to the extra weight over the V-Star.

I ride with HD friends, and after a while they stopped getting on my A## about buying the R* and not the Harley. I told them, "the only difference is I could pay cash for this one". The Harley would have meant a trip to the bank.

That's enough for now from Buckeye Lake area, Ohio

It just tears them HD guys up. They all get together when you can't hear them, and say things like "He's so happy. How is that possible?"

Looks like you might of had some problems with the 'initiation' process?

Very similar story here, long long time away, bought a Honda Sabre, knew I wanted to continue riding, looked at HD, but why spend almost twice the money for a similar style bike? Resale value? who's planning on selling - not me or to many others here from what I've been reading. Hope you love your Roadstar like I do mine. Mike
