I'd be worried about the fact that it may be totaled. Repairs aren't going to be cheap...looks like the whole front end needs to be replaced. Wonder if the frame is straight? And, there's probably a good reason why the right side is the only one pictured.

can see from rear pic only broken tail light on left side, wonder how much more left damage? Is fork stop broke too I wonder, if so, that a totaled bike to insurance co. Headlight busted up too

Could be a smoking deal but repairing a controlled-fill aluminum frame would be dicey at best unless you're a mil-spec aircraft welder.
I guess for the price a trike project could be an option or just a full on custom steel frame chopper with a nice BIG engine.

Could have laid there still running after the lay down with minimal (if any) oil pressure until he came to his senses and crawled over to shut it off.
