I just moved to north Florida from south Florida. Down south I purchased my gas from the Marathon station which sold non ethanol gas. The price was a little higher, but worth it. The octane rating was 90. Bike ran great, plus I always added a little Sea Foam just for good measure. Will start looking for a station up here that sells it.

There are lots of places around here with ethanol free gas.

Some of them have signs out front saying they sell boat gas.

You can find them in your specific area here:

Ok got first tank down. Ran about 56mpg. Thinking I rather like pure gas. Up from 42-43mpg. Should I have THAT large of a jump or is this all in my mind. Kind of seem like I have a bit more power also.

This is exciting. There is a lot of stations in the Nashville area where I'm moving too in the next couple of months. Are there any issues to run this in your car? Great site.

No reason to run non-ethanol in your car if it is fuel injected. It really only cause's problems with the carb gumming up! I don't think there is that much to gain in milage vs. the cost. I only run non-ethanol in my bike and all of my small engine (lawn mower, weed eater and leaf blower). Anything with a carb!

Y'all have a great weekend!!

It's actually better to run non-ethanol in the newer fuel injected cars because of the higher air/fuel ratio the car uses for it - 14.7:1 for non ethanol compared to 14.1:1 for 10%. It results in slightly higher fuel mileage. The problem I have here is that Murphy's sells it but it's almost 40 cents per gallon more.

And as far as running a higher octane in our bikes it won't hurt them a bit. It will definitely help prevent any detonation during these really hot days.
