I've met Tim. I've been to his shop and bought parts from him.
Tim is good people and he has my respect. That doesn't come easy.

I have personally dealt with Tim and had no problems at all, quite the opposite. I also have made a purchase on ebay and had to eat it. While I dont agree with the sellers disrespectful tone, I also have much bigger fish to fry than to get in a pi$$ing contest over some grips. I understand the frustration but being a "right fighter" on this one is simply not worth it.

Thanks! It's nice to hear from folks that can speak from experience!

One last note... I actually have the eBay sellers email address, but, honestly, I wouldn't dare share it here, as I had originally intended. I had originally asked that you would gently contact him and inform him that he dissed a R* Clinic brother, which is not cool, and that you would not be a buyer of his offerings going forward.

However, since the guy would not stop, and became totally abusive, disrespectful, and resorted to profanity-laced name-calling... when I never accused or called him any name, but merely asked that he do the right thing, as a (and here was my mistake) sales 'professional'.

I will not share it here, lest any of you just find yourself on the receiving end of his venom, as I did. I called eBay problem resolution, and they read all our communication. They promised to come down on him immediately. Especially since I said I did not want to have any further communication from him.

It's a gorgeous day here today... I'll be on 2-wheels once again!

The "seller" goes by JDCycles... just let him go right on by!

LOL! You are making yourself look worse, give it up, you are wrong. BTW, I spoke with JD & he's a really decent guy. I think he & I will be doing business together, so put me on the list with him.

Wow, clearly he's not a decent guy if he's swearing at his customers. I'm kinda glad that I didn't do any business with you either cause it's clear that you don't care about your customers either. Quest is right 100% about customer service. He might have been wrong about the sale, but if you're a true salesman and want to keep your customers, you don't treat them like that. Even if he or you had the best price on the internet I would go to someone else solely based on this attitude that you have. Now I know why you weren't doing well selling and decided to get out of it.

You are another loud mouth without a clue. Mr know-it-all I was invited here to sell parts by one of the moderators. You really need to have at lest one correct fact before you spout off. Quest is a untruthful person.

Hmmm I'm not gonna kick the ball in any direction. I just want to say that I personally like having you as a vendor on here, you've done very well by me and everyone you've done business with here.

Yeah, I must say that I talked to Tim on the phone personally when I got my Barnett stuff for my current Roadie and everything went just as it should. I plan to order another Barnett set up for my other Roadie soon and Tim will be my first call. Seems like a straight up, no BS guy to me. Which is exactly how I operate so I can appreciate that. This seems to be a bit of a pissing contest that has run its course, IMO. But, opinions are like a$$holes, so carry on

Thank you for speaking the truth!

I've known TimB for a long time now and have spoke to him on the phone on occasions when asking about a part. He's a good man and resource. Maybe we'll actually meet one day Tim. Its good to have you on board.

+1 about eating ebay purchases...Tone was less to be desired by the seller, but you got what you paid for. Not worth fighting over by any means. These days are getting tougher trying to make a buck without problems having your own business and especially an online one. No returns within the description is a tough sell to get something back.
