Great customer service from Shinko tire corp 1 Year, 10 Months ago  
I posted a couple days ago about a defective Shinko tire I purchased from JP cycle and the terrible customer service I received from them. Well I contacted Shinko corp and explained my situation with the tire. They replied back within 24hrs but needed more info and a couple pics along with the name of the place that mounted the tire. I sent them all the requested info along with pics showing the dot on the tire aligned with the valve stem as requested. Well I just received an email from Shinko that read

"Hi David,

We have a replacement tire shipping out to you. I will get you a tracking number when one is available."

My hat is off to Shinko Corp for a fantastic customer service experience and for handling the issue in a very timely manner.

I didn't expect these results and so fast of results so I bought another tire locally and had it mounted just this morning.. I guess that after the poor response from JP Cycle I lost faith in all customer service.
When I had the new one mounted the guy spun the defective tire and found the bad spot just as I said. It was almost 1/4 inch out of round he reffered to it as a high spot.

Bag up that tire when it gets there in a heavy, dark colored lawn and leaf type bag and put it in the spot in your home with the coolest average temperature to keep it nice and pliable and fresh.

Very impressed with the response you got. I'd send a note to JP and tell them to eat a rusted rat's asshole, and you are going to tell the world they SUCK.

I have NEVER ordered anything from them because I have heard this kind of stuff for years on fit. form, and function return attempts with them.

I stick to Chapparal Motorsports and Dennis Kirk (awesome customer service in my experience) for most things.

Yep I like the Shinko I have one the front and bought another Shinko 777HD locally for the rear.

JD I might offer it up here to someone at a good price. I'll decide when I get it.
