Yup, there's a number of leftovers that Yami dealers are still trying to peddle for Yami-mama. They're new, unused.

If it's worth it to you, it's a deal.

Relatively low mileage ones are available for considerably less, though... and since these bikes are so tough, I figure a low-mileage, used, for even thousands less, is still the better deal.

What do others think?

Hi Scott...

I saw a dealer's site just the other day that had leftover 2010's for $7999 plus some free accessories. Granted they weren't the Silverado like you found. Speaking of that, I'm wondering where the saddlebags and passenger floorboards have gone from the one you found on ebay. 06 Silverados came with those stock. This leftover bike may have become a parts bike for some dealer.

Regards....greeny

Yup,i also noticed bags were gone but i have seen used 05-06 R*'s with 6,500-7k asking prices and thought this brand new 06 silverado @ $7,499 inc full warrantee (for what thats worth) was a decent price.

What's kind a cool is that I have to fly to FL next month for a fishing tournament out of Marco Island, just a few miles below Naples. If I was interested in another R*, I would think the ride home, on a new left-over, would be a pretty cool proposition!

Folks it looks like a Silverado but if you check the VIN its a standard Roadstar with a couple of extras (screen and sissy bar) still a pretty good price though for new

Re:A Brand New Silverado for $7,499 !!!! 6 Years, 5 Months ago
As a point of comparison;
I sold my '08 Silverado S this spring for $7,500. It had only 6k miles on it. It had about $2k of extras on it that I installed myself (labor not included in the $2K). It also included the extended YES warranty thru 2013.
I also threw in the RV jack, 2 helmets, leather chaps, 2 pair of goves, battery tender, complete service manual on CD, a set of stubby metric wrenches and the "Ride Like a Pro" video. All in, I had close to $17k in it. The buyer got a great deal!
I miss it but don't regret selling it. I had some fun for 3 summers and didn't get hurt by the "cagers".

Dont shoot the messenger/LOL!!!!!!

The dealer selling the bike said its a silverado, who knows, maybe the dealer sold the bags ,rear foot boards, etc off the bike.

I was just showing a decent deal on a brand new bike because iv'e seen same approx age used R* 's being advertised for same $$$$ and in some cases more $$$$.

And yes whoever got your bike did get a good deal,i guess thats what happens when ya load up the addons after initally buying the bike that unfortunately ya cant always recoop the $ on when it's time to sell.

That's the difference between how I priced my bike (to sell) and the bikes here in the classifieds. I knew that I was giving it away but I really wanted to sell it and priced it realistically according to current market conditions. So, the buyer got a really good deal and I have no regrets!
BTW: Naples is a high priced market to buy anything. I know because I own a home there.
