Dealers and Vendors 9 Years, 4 Months ago
Folks,

Just want to remind everyone that posts in the Dealers/Vendors folder are there for Vendors who want to do business with members of the Clinic. We require them to contain their business primarily in this folder. We consider their participation to be valuable to this community, as they often bring great products and offer us discounts due to how large this forum has become. Its a win - win situation.

Posts in the Dealers/Vendors folders are analogous to Vendor tents and booths at a bike event. If you don't want to do business with them, or read what they post please exercise that option. You will know you have clicked on a post in this folder when the folder title at the top of the posts says 'Vendors and Dealers'.

Please remember that some Vendors are new to forum life and don't always get the more subtle points of forum etiquette. Lets give them a chance to learn how this all works. Believe me, the ones who care about sticking around will learn how to be great contributing members too. Thats how this place has always worked.

I can't speak for anyone else, but the Vendor booths are one of the reasons I like going to bike events. Lets help them feel welcome here at the clinic. It benefits us all (how many here owe Clifford a beer for his helpful posts), and we are in a great position to weed out the ones that are troublesome.

Done with my $.00002 soapbox speech

Thanks for reading it,

Gram
