huh?

why not just have a triple tree stem turned up the right length for the roadie headstock and have it pressed in?

had a few done for other bikes and it´s safer, WAAAY cheaper, a shedload less hassle, and far safer.

has anybody here put a front end with triple clamps designed for a harley on there roadstar if so what modifications did it take i figured i'd have to make bushings for the different bearings

I have a front end that takes all harley stuff but the stem & trees fit's the R*.It's a raked front end. The trees are set up for H.D.risers and everything on down is H.D. I purchased a 21" harley wheel off ebay made for a 3/4 axle. You will also need a brake caliper and rotor made for H.D.

The bike is the one in my sig. pic below it's the one on the left.
Here is a link to the front end I used.

That is the same fork legs I used on my 02, At the time they didn't have all of these packages that thaey have now, They only had a couple of people making the raked trees. I ordered that front end minus the trees either from Jireh or Vtwin catalog. I also got a 21" twisted spoke chrome rim from them. They were a little cheaper and more choices than what was availiable through metric suppliers. I think a lot of the metric suppliers get their parts for stuff like this from Vtwin or Jireh.

Hi Guys i have 2 roadies both with HD blind triple trees and the only thing i had to do was make a bush to fit the bottom bearing on.
I believe american suspension are now do bearing kits to fit the harley trees.
i did do a bike for a guy that ended up being a god awful rush job, but when people get pushy they get what they get.
I've add a pic of it i hope

Jesus that's awful. Between the way too tall front end and that jacked rear fender, that thing looks like hell. Top bad he didn't give you more time to get it looking right cause it could've been cool

Yes, as long as the triples are NOT raked.

You can't change the length of a stem on raked triples without misaligning the fork tube openings.
Most HD stems are shorter than a Roadstar.
Too bad too, there are several raked triples for HDs that cost a fraction of the same thing for a Roadstar.

This fits in here, right? I mean, I can make this fit in here ... right?
