Test fitting the new hard bags. 1 Year ago
I finally decided that the stock soft bags were just too small and mine were starting to break down and lose their shape, so I found a set of stock hard bags to put on. They came shipped in primer so they are almost ready to paint. I never have been a fan of the Harley bags or most of the others. These look good on our bikes, especially lowered so I have them dropped as far as I can get them down and back. I think I'm going to like the look.

Those bags look good on your Roadie with the dual exhaust.

They will add a lot to the total package when painted.

Chris, I think they will look great on your bike. I have always been a fan of your bike anyway.

Thanks guys, I'm sticking with the stock colors on the two tone but I'm going to add some slight style to it. It will go with my theme. Don't critique my drawing but I'm goaling for this look.

Those will look great, but if I remember correctly, the volume is greater in the stock leather bags than in the stock hard bags. Just a different shape.

The big advantage I can see is the opening size. The opening on the stock leather bags is alot smaller than these. I haven't measured inside but I can almost put the stock leather bag inside the hard bag. At least it looks like it.

What are you going to do with the leather bags and mounts? I might be interested in them if you want to part with them.

The mounts are being re-used on the new bags since they require the same ones. As far as the bags go, the lids have holes in them where I've put my leather patches on, I'm not sure they're worth using.

Those bags will look great after you get them painted.
