Lean and rich spark plugs in the same cylinder??? 2 Months, 3 Weeks ago
Garage time in Sweden.

This year I have planned to stay outside the engine.
When I pulled the plugs I discovered that the right hand side spark plugs looked a little lean.
A shade of white in the electrodes. The left hand spark plug in the same top looked perfect.
Question: -Do the right hand plug run hotter? -Or do I have a valve timing issue?

Front and rear cylinder showed the same symptom. Bike runs OK.
The question is more of a philosophic nature

Regards

What color was the ceramic insulator around the center electrode?

A philosophic question...OK, well, first, you need to talk to the bike. Ask it about it's opinion on God, global warming, North Korean nuclear proliferation, and the significance of short person behavior in pedal-depressed, panchromatic resonance and other highly ambient domains. You, know, just some light conversation to break the ice and get to know one another. Then, I would check the coils.

Since you are in the northern hemisphere like us, it doesn’t seem like that would be the problem. It’s probably because you make more left hand than right hand turns, or visa versa!

Put the plugs back in and never think about it again. Don't go lookin for trouble where there is none.
