Rears designed for traction more than steering. I'm sure someone else can give a better explanation than I can. As Firedog says, I wouldn't risk it, but if you are going to, flip the tire around and run it in the opposite direction of the rotation arrow. It may or may not work. It may handle terribly and feel sketchy. It's your life. A rear on the front in reverse rotation is not that unusual, but a front on the rear in reverse rotation is far less a popular idea. I would NOT run it, personally. The shearing forces on a rear tire are significantly higher than a front, and that affects how complex the carcass layup is and the bead wrap count, etc.   Logged       The administrator has disabled public write access.
