daveJ, yes, I am pumpless.

I replaced the stock filter several years ago, not because of changing to pumpless, just routine maintenance stuff. I have black fuel line running from the tank to the inline filter, then to the carb inlet.

Going pumpless, I changed out my carb inlet valve to the Yamaha grizzley valve and cut down my main petcock inlet. Since doing those things, I've never had a problem with fuel starvation or 'carb puke'. Love it.
