Another Star owner 4 Years, 3 Months ago

Greetings, Star riders!

I'm a new, proud owner of a 2009 Road Star 1700 just purchased off Craigslist. Bought new in 2011 by a mature rider and added some goodies, so he had $15,000 invested (have receipts). My price was $8,500. Odometer showing less than 2,500 miles. The bike is mint. Not a scratch. I thought I got a decent deal. He wanted to move up to a touring model.

I have been riding off, and on, since the '60's this being my third Yamaha. I've always had excellent luck with them so I opted to stay with the brand on this purchase.

I joined roadstarclinic in hopes of sharing experiences with some fellow riders that possess the same passion so I may learn more about maintaining this awesome ride.
