Looking for the most popular light bar kit that won't break the bank, but looks like they should adorn the front of a R*. I've seen some cheesy ones and some that are way out of my price range.

Any input would most graciously be considered.

Happy Tanksgiving to you, and yours.

Okay. 146 views and no one has an opinion, or source, for cheapies.

Let's try another route. What passing light setup is anyone running, sans cost?

Skaweu da price. I want some more lights up front.

You can buy the cheap ones that won't last or you can buy the higher priced ones that work. All the good ones are about $300. Kury Constellation light bar on mine.

I have a Yamaha lightbar but have Harley deep bezel lights & HD smoke lens signals on my R*.
I made the wiring from scratch since there is no such thing as a Yamaha to Harley adapter.
With the Royal Star Tour Deluxe headlight ring I think it's about the best looking 'classic style' setup out there and you can't just buy it - you need to put it together yourself.

I got the HD light setup on craigslist with a box of other takeoff parts for $75, sold all the other HD stuff individually on eBay & made enough to buy the Yamaha chrome lightbar and then some. I still have the HD chrome bar that I plan on selling.

p.s., my profile pic below has the HD lights but did not yet the Royal Star Tour Deluxe headlight ring.

Yamaha passing lights on mine. I have an '03 Silverado that didn't have a coupler or harness for the passing lights on it. I bought it used from a member on here for $150.00, I think. Took an afternoon to wire it in, pretty simple.

Thanks for all the replies.

Talking to the better half about wanting some and, after trying to talk me out of getting some, she admitted going to Yamaha and getting me a set. So much for being surprised on the 25th.

Can't have them until Xmas, tho. My vacation starts Friday. I'll be spending the next week trying to convince her I need 'em now!

Oh, hard bags, too! She doesn't know I saw those hiding in a closet. Mum's the word.
