Not sure this is the right placefor this question 3 Months, 1 Week ago
So Im posting this here because its engine related but its not about jetting. So sorry if I'm wrong.
My motor seems to be going into a timing cycle that lasts forever that is perfect sequence. It will do a short run in the sounds of a single pin and then act like a dual. So I get a blukitabluk bluk blukitablukita bluk blukita, then a sudden instant switch to bluka bluka bluka bluka bluka bluka for ever. Like it cant get back out of the timing of perfect circle. I uploaded a video to youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HOTv-9292pg. I wanted a single pin because I like that unbalanced sound and the throatiness. But once in this cycle it stays there indefinitely. It may never go back to the right sound.

The three questions. Is this normal? Is its to do with the motor/carb? is it to do with pipe backpressure?

I have noticed in videos that the roadies with hypers and V&H pipes have that sound. And a bunch of the others have the times sound.

Any ideas for me to try?
