I bought the headlight and passing lights on ebay for $330 and they were the truck lite. I like them.

The truck lites are nice. Cike has the 3 bulb set and i was very impressed.

On my new bike i have the 3 day maker lights and i like them a lot too but they cost way more than the truck lites.

Re:Headlight Info 1 Year ago
I hope I'm not out of line posting this here but, here goes. In the last two years I've had to replace my headlight bulb four times. Could there be a particular problem causing this continual sort term bulb life ?

Horse, most common reason might be an overactive charging system, but in our case, it may be more due to vibration. Does yours shake any more than the usual?

Try a volt meter on your battery at, say, 2,500 rpm. Voltage should be no more than, Oh, 14.5 volts, or so.

Others?

Re:Headlight Info 1 Year ago
Who knows how much shake is more or less than normal ? I will check the voltage output but the only problem is my lowbeam going out, highbeam is fine. I know that does not get used much ,so it's really not effected. I do run an '05 Spec Wound Stator in my '01 RS.

What kind of bulb are you using? Stock halogen type or something else?

I don't remember the brand of this last one . Super Bright or some such thing.
. It is Halogen , 100w/80w H4 P143. It lasted almost 3 months . I only lose low beam but it happens over and over .
