#1021979 Barbarian (User) Fresh Boarder Posts: 8 2004, 1700 roadstar battery will not charge 5 Months, 2 Weeks ago   I have replaced my stator and regulator on my 2004 1700, but battery will still not charge, started out for a ride, battery is at 12.83 volts by that afternoon bike would not start battery was just over 11 volts, switched out battery to get home. The bike sits all week battery does not drain, it only drains when riding. At a fast idle you should see close to 50 volts AC between any two of all three wires. Where'd you get the stator? Radio/amp for instance? Wait. Let's go back.
