Mutazu bags mounting question 4 Years, 9 Months ago
I haven't posted here in a long time, but still lurk the forum quite often. I've got my bke up and running (need to update profile pic) and have started going on long enough rides to warrant getting saddle bags. I sold my soft bags and mounts long ago, so will be starting from scratch. I am thinking of going w/ Mutazu either MU or RS, leaning more towards MU. I would like mount them in a way so as to be able to take them on and off with ease and also have them not poking way out from the fender, but in as tight as possible for a narrow profile. For those of you running these bags, what brackets have worked the best?

I have the stock hard bagsand lowered them and moved them back to somewhat Mic the rear fender !! Made my brackets too! But had add 1" spacers so the left side bag wouldn't hit the belt guard!! U could make the brackets ur self to with a lil time and some flat bar stock u can get at menards ,fleet farm,or home depot!! Good luck!!

Thanks for the responses. So it sounds like I just need to get the bags I want and there will be plenty of options for mounting them. Also, are the saddle bag gaurds that work with soft bags used at all when you go to hard bags?
