top end screw sealant 5 Years ago
Hi All, I am reassembling the top end of my 2005 1600 (3 piece model) and have seen reference on the forum to using sealant on the 6mm screws that hold the chrome spacers and rocker cover together but darned if I can see which ones are being referred to.

I'm looking around page 5-15..5-16 of my manual. any guidance appreciated.

Cheers, Peter

I can't answer your question about sealant but if your bike is a 2005 it's a 1700.

Well, I don't know about you, but when I reassemble something on my Ride, I always put screws and bolt's back in after I give a light coat of Blue Lok-Tite, just to help keep them from vibrating loose in the future. Good practice to get in to. IMHO
