Try the Albuquerque C/L, it's in the nearby areas part, whereupon it states Las Vegas. I just remembered there is a Las Vegas, New Mexico. My bad.

I thought so...doesn't look too bad. Way better than the one for $750.00. It had no exhaust system, among other things. Lotsa miles though.

The thing that makes these "good deal project bikes" less than exciting for most is by the time you get it and buy parts etc......your gonna have $2k in most any of the "deals" I have seen. And that is to get it running and looking right...not perfect/custom/badass..

I feel your much better off finding a complete bike that doesn't "need" anything and get a good deal on one of those for $2k or so and THEN change things up/customize as you like.

I could have left my most recent Roadstar alone and just drove it, but since i got a good deal on it I can justify customizing it the way I want. I just don't see spending more than $3k on a really nice low mileage Roadstar anymore given how many are out there in the $2-3k range....I feel they are "worth" more because they are such great bikes but the actual resale value just isn't there....

My guess is that the one for $1200 that is only firing on 1 cyl either just needs a sparkplug and a little carb tuning or an oil pump gear. That is exactly how they act with a broken gear.
