Go to Loves or Pilot or any big chain truck stop and get the 4 inch guage visor. I glued mine on with super glue, lasted about a year before it fell off. I was kind of hoping it would fit under the tank trim similar to the headlight visor. Not sure how fond I am of tape. No chrome pitting, or peeling either. I had to replace a couple speedo bulbs and found that the visor on my bike sits on speedo and held in place by the tank trim.. I can rotate mine around for ram air speedo cooling. Lol. Just thought I would mention that the mounting style you are looking for is available, but I have no clue where the previous owner got it.
