how do i get the lower neck bearing off the tree? 10 Months, 1 Week ago

changing the neck bearings in my 02 and i have the races out and replaced but i cant for the life of me get the lower bearing to budge. i have removed the cage and seal to expose the part pressed onto the stem but i cant get it to move at all. i have been hitting it with a stainless rod and hammer at a angle for 30 minutes and got nothing
any useful tips would be helpful

loaned out my angle grinder to my father in law. dont have a oxy/acetylene , only a map gas.
just going through the bike so i can try and sell it in a riding condition. new neck bearings, re seal the forks, new oil, tires, drive belt and brakes.

I got it off. Put it in my mill to thin out one side and then it came off.

I tried heat and hanmering.....had to resort to buying an electric die griender/dremel and 1.5 inch cutoff wheel. Heat alone and 5lb brass sledge didn't work. ...had to cut

I got lucky the last time. I was able to get a cold chisel under it and work one side then the other. Once it starts moving, it gets easier and easier.
