No it does not flex and stays put. Waiting for my ED seat to arrive and see how it feels.

I got an E.D. Big Tour seat back in June. The stock seat hurt my butt and tailbone after about 75 miles. I have rode an entire tank (to reserve, 160+ miles) on my E.D. with no butt or tailbone pain.
