Happy Thanksgiving All,
I really liked the look of the filter so I just did the mod. It fits great. What did you do with the 2 hoses that were attached to the OEM Housing?

The ups truck brought my filter to me day before yesterday, I cut out a bracket from some aluminum I had laying around and painted it last night.. Installed it this morning. I really like the looks of it tucked up nice and close under the gas tank..and guess what, I can get to my brake pedal.. Its a great alternative to spending several hundred bucks, and to me it even looks better.. thanks for sharing it with us Yamahawg..

I wish they sounded a bit thoatier. Other than that, I like everything about my slashdowns. The longs might sound a hooch deeper than mine due to the length.

Thanks Yama...Mr Cancilla. I am opting for the longs because Cobra is supposed to be coming out with tips for them sometime early '08.

Did you notice any change in power and/or MPG?

Yes, but I changed multiple things at one time. I ported the stock manifold, installed a Baron's jet kit and custom air cleaner at the same time as the pipes.
