The product sold by m. e. Miller is sold in a quart size for $15. Only thing is, and that's why I want to talk to them first, is that their website and advertising seems to be geared more for farm equipment. Don't know why it couldn't be used on other types of tires, but ya never know.

Don't know about paint, but Avon has a whitre wall in the Venom line. I almost bought one, until the feedback on the clinic led me elsewhere. I was looking for distance over performance. I'm trying the ME880 now.

Just got off the phone with the M.E. Miller company and they assured me that their black tire paint will work on motorcycle tires. Or any other type of tires for that matter. May take more than one coat to cover the white walls though. So I went ahead and ordered a quart and will see how it works.

Earl, as far as Avons go, I couldn't find a whitewall in the 160/80-16 size.

Aaron, I realise it may be well after the fact, but I found a site that shows a 160/80-16 with white walls. Maxxis Classic M6011 Rear.
Good luck with the paint.

I painted a white wall with regular flat black buzz bomb, it's held up fine all season! You have to clean tire first,[I used brake cleaner] Then sand white wall, clean again, mask and spray. Works great for $.88

That could be because I was looking at 150/80-16. I haven't yet made that massive 10mm conversion yet. hehehe

Re:Stupid Question 10 Years, 5 Months ago
Well, I received the tire paint today and just had to try it..... And it worked great!!! Took two coats but I put a third on just for sh*ts and grins. And a little definitely goes a long way. Mixed it 1/2 and 1/2 like they recomend, so now I've got almost a cup of the stuff mixed that I don't now what to do with. Guess I can start painting tires on the side.
Anyway, here are some before and after pics. Doc, I know they are a little big, so if you need to change them or get rid of them, feel free.

Thanks again for all the suggestions. And Musky, you've got a karma coming!!

Aaron
