I've been chasing this problem for a while now and i just wanna ride my bike already.

Over the course of the last year, my bike began losing power and coughing through the intake. No check engine lights at all.
At this point, the bike is basically unrideable. I've done all the basic maintaince and even had it checked out by the dealer i purchased it from.

So far, this is what I've done.
1. New K&N air filer
2. New NGK plugs, all gapped to spec (.035)
3. New Mobile 1 oil and filter, filed to 4 qts
4. New fuel pump.
5. New fuel and Seafoam treatment, following recommended amount per bottle.

The fuel pump was changed after having the dealer run testing on it. The tech said that the bike wasn't holding fuel pressure through out the RPM range. At the time of testing, the fuel pressure regulator was showing as good. I haven't had the FPR checked since replacing the pump.

Any ideas on what else I can look in to?

How many miles on the bike?

There was an issue awhile back about a hose under there somewhere leaking/heat damaged and would cause all kinds of issues.

This is true. Not many issues with these FI bikes. We should try getting a section for the FI bikes started.

To answer your questions, it has a hair over 11k.

AHHHH. OK. I saw that thread but i didn't read all 8 pages. I read over the first few and came to the conclusion that it was for information regarding the FI system rather than a page where we look for troubleshooting advise. If need be, I'll copy it over there.
