#985684 Lrdstar (User) Senior Boarder Posts: 319 Oil pressure gauge added for about $40 1 Year, 5 Months ago   I just drove 12 miles after losing my oil pump drive shaft. If I had an oil pressure gauge might have realized it sooner. Thankfully it appears no engine damage. I think that's pretty amazing. So I've been looking into adding an oil pressure gauge and ran across a youtube of a guy who put one between the banjo nut and the head. Im upgrading the oil pump drive gear and adding the gauge for future precaution. Do you have parts list and where you got the parts. I'm also curious on how you found out your oil pump gave out. Alot of noise Or what ? 12 miles no damage? That's amazing. I think it was 2002 and later that got the upgrade but I could be wrong. The tangs were "beefed up". The part number I ordered was SPD-4WM09-29-00 for right around $50. Here's the gauge setup. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0WmxwBpea3M I found the 0-100psi Marshall fluid-filled pressure gauge on ebay for $20... and got the 10mm banjo fitting and the 10mm x 1.25 dual-banjo bolt from Amazon. But you can find them all over.
