I ordered a stainless lime from Hellriser Customs and it took them 2 or 3 times to send me the correct one. The service manual calls to replace rear brake line every 4 years. That was actually the very first thing I looked at but it was good. After checking things out I'm betting it's like JD described, when I get in there I bet it looks like the bottom picture he posted. The bike is a 99 so I figure like TimB said, that brake line is wasted as well.
