Lets get some opinions on what type of battery would be the "most durable" replacement for our Roadstars. Someone told me you can redo one with new acid for around 10 bucks. They say sometimes you can change the battery acid but, most of the time if the acid is dead the plates have started to deteriate(sp?) better to just replace it. my .000000002 worth. When in the Air Force we did test on the gel type batterys. Interstate made one that I put in my 56 chev and loved it. Higher CCA in a smaller package, I got it at sears a while ago. a little expensive but light years above in durability. Hope that helps. I was concerned about resealing it as well. I would hate for the acid to leak out and start eating away...
