first ride in 3-4 weeks 1 Month ago
Today in Ohio was 50° and the rain last night had cleaned the salt off the roads, Although they were still a little wet I decided to go out for a short ride. Only went out for about 20 miles, but it felt great.
I wanted to try out the new trailer store fairing that I bought. The fairing was great, but I soon realized that I forgot to tighten the bolts that hold the windhield in when I blew out on me while going down the road. Luckly, I somehow managed to catch it in my chest so it didn't break. It also fit into my saddlebag, so 1/2 the ride was just with a windshieldless fairing.
Either way it felt great to be back on the bike again.

Happy for you. We all know how good that feels.
No matter who we are or where we live or the reasons we're limited on riding as often as we want, there's something powerful, freeing, even magical everytime you throw a leg over, push the magic button, settle in the saddle and let the horses run!

It's going to be 50 here today. I hope the roads are dry enough after work today so I can get a quick ride in. Do you have any pics of the fairing on your bike?

44f in Nova Scotia today. Took the 06 for a blast. Kind of lonely being the only bike on the Road. Ripped past a bunch of cars on the highway. Could not crank the bike, slipping clutch.
