I sorta have one... I bobbed a R* and lowered the rear suspension, and it is light and nimble compared to my two-up R* with bags and windscreen.

I enjoy toodling around town on it.

My second choice would have been a Bolt or Sportster....

The Bolt is a cool bike.
It's not geared for touring but I've had one up to 100 MPH & was surprised how well it held the road. WAY better than a Sporty would at that speed.
Probably the best deals going on new ones are for the SCR950 scrambler version. We're selling new 2017s at work for $5499.

Sounds like a good deal for what you’d be getting, Bubba.

A Funster.

I seriously dig that Scrambler version. If I was a rich guy I would buy it and toodle on the gravel roads with it

I'm not buying one, I already have 3 Roadstars & an XS650 here.

When I said "We're selling new 2017s at work for $5499." I was talking about what's for sale where I work.
I was just passing the info along to anyone here looking for a great price on a new Bolt.
