Got my CARG7 3 Months ago
I really like using my USB stick in the stereo to listen to my music. I like the fact that it holds a lot of music and doesn't drain the battery on my phone like using bluetooth would.
Plus i'm a little older and techno challenged and don't know how to put free music on my phone.
My last bike and my current truck had/have USB ports. The 2012 Electra glide I bought only has radio and cd.
I was debating about changing the stereo just to have the USB port for trips.
Now I don't have to.
My wife bought me a CARG7 from amazon for about $15 Here is a link for one on Ebay if anyone wants to see what they are. (this is not the same place she bought mine)

They plug into the cigarette lighter and allow you to use USB and bluetooth. You can also use your phone to make, and receive hands free calls.
I will most likely only use it for the USB though.
All you do is match it to a station on the radio that doesn't get used (i used 98.1) the devise just becomes a FM transmitter.
After we ordered mine I found out the you can get them for under $10 on Ebay if you look around. Sorry I don't have a link.

I tried it out today and it works great.
Just thought i'd put this out there in case any of you might like something like this as well.
Don't find many good upgrades this cheap. I wonder how long it will last.

I may have to look into this a bit more. My DD is a 2000, with a Bose stereo system. I'd rather not put a new sytem in. The cassette player in the OEM system, is kinda cute.

That's pretty slick. The CD player in our car went out so we used one of those bluetooth cassettes to play music via "phone" through the radio. Not as convenient or versatile as the CARG7 appears to be and requies no phone, i like that too. Thanks for the tip. Its going on my Christmas gift request list

That could be a great score Cike, thanks for turning us on to it. I'm also behind on tech skills and don't usually care, sometimes being left behind can lead to a simpler life. This could serve me nicely in either of my old vehicles.
As for how long it might last... so much of that stuff comes from China now a days it can go either way, but for the price it's worth a shot.
Thanks again for sharing!
