Happy with my low gas milage, poor emissions bike 3 Months ago

I was told it stinks, puffs smoke when I bang the throttle and not fun to ride behind. My Harley pal gets better gas mileage 2 up versus my bike with one passenger, me. The bike is carbed, and the gas milage could be better, but mashing the throttle is worth it.
The bottom line, I like the loaping idle and the odd backfire when starting, care less about the emissions smell, and enjoy the drama a carbed bike brings to the table. Boo-hoo, I spend 6 bucks more on a fill up, as if that's a game changer compared to my pals efficiently running bike.
I started the bike after letting it sit in the cold for several weeks and it worked great.
No payments, cheap insurance and reliability. The Road Star is the best deal for a solid V Twin cruiser on the planet.
Riding the bike today was therapy until my jacket split open due to the zipper busting. Had to cut the ride short but it was getting dark and cold. Time to go on a diet.
I have a 108ci Road Star with the Patrick Racing goods, but wish I could have attained the elusive 110ci Road Star. Or, ride one to compare mine with. Chasing torque is like a dog chasing it's tail, except it costs more.
A small mindless rant on a Saturday night. No beer, no music, but a lot of memories.

If it is broke, fix it. If it is not, make it better!

Hang on to your horses & torque there drums working on a nitrous system for you
Funny you mentioned that. Was watching Jay Leno and the guy's car he was driving had nitro. I got to thinking a poor man's torque increase. Chrome up a nitrous tank and steam punk the thing with brass valves and such. Have a button on the handlebars disguised as an old bicycle bell and everytime you ring it the nitrous kicks in.
I hope the recent batch of headaches I have been getting is not a result of a brain tumor or chemical imbalance heh.
