Yes with a big proviso....person riding needs to know how to ride. You have to teach them what to do and not to do. A good passenger can be a non-issue or a wreck waiting to happen.
My wife quit riding due to health issues and I miss having her back there at times. But it aint' stopping me from riding.

2 up for me.

I'm with Deerkiller. You won't hear a peep out of my GF. She learned how to ride very well on the back and loves it. Sometimes I can't even tell she's back there.

It makes it nice when you go on rides and have someone to BS with when you get there.

Run solo more than not, but happy to take the wife when the chance presents itself.

I usually ride solo, but don't mind having a passenger as long as she knows what she's doing. I've ridden with some great passengers that make it lots of fun. Even those who, occasionally, you have to look back once in a while just to make sure she's still there. But then there's those who think *they* are the ones steering the bike, and that can be extremely annoying, not to mention the risk factor.

That sounds like one hell of a reason not to ride solo!

Solo. My wife has a very bad back. Thus I must ride solo. Never had a passenger. The bike is a mini holiday away from everything so I enjoy the solo gig. Mind you, I think it is great to see couples on bikes. Gets me out of the house. My wife told me to get a bike so I did 3.5 seasons ago.

I ride solo most of the time but my wife loves to ride and I don't mind if she comes along, She knows how to be a passenger. Ken
