Hey Curt, where is The Colony, Texas. I'll ride down there if you're willing to host this. Took me one day to ride to Desoto, Texas.

It is 20 miles north of Dallas Texas 7 miles east off I35 down SH-121. What is involved in hosting one of these things?

Well all you would have to do is find a hotel/motel that would take us who are coming and maybe a place to camp for those that do, and make sure we have good places to ride to. Good resturants that have good food... and Texas should be warm enough in May

Hey Curt, The Colony is defintely just a one day ride for me...

Kai,

I was thinking about something like this earlier...but didn't want to compete with the Wisconsin meet and greet.

I live near Omaha....we have a nice place to ride across the way called Lowess Hills(near Council Bluffs, Iowa). Plenty of parks for tent camping. Could possible take a ride down to Kansas City for some BBQ (2.5 hours away).

Not much of a night life at all. Mostly bars that I am aware of. Lots of hilly back roads. Could also take a ride out to the Freedom Rock too (http://www.thefreedomrock.com/index2.php#/home/).

PC01Roadie, if you think you could host it, Omaha, NE is just a couple of hours ride for me...

Just finally meeting some of you is the object of the Meet and Greet. Possibly breaking bread with people I respect...also riding with them. Also making it a hassle free gettogether and afforable for most folks...
