I love my Ultimate seat. But, I chose it over the Ed because their showroom is an hour away.

Can someone please post photos of the underside of both seats so I can compare the mounting hardware? Thanks

ok so have both setting in the drive. The ED low and forward on my wifes bike and an ultimate on mine. I like the ultimate tons over stock and on the small time I sat my wifes like it better but didnt get in a good long ride as I am not all that hot on the way she has her bike setup. I will say on hers I set more forward and down than on my Ultimate but I can flat foot on the stock seat also. I also like most have a short 29 inch inseam so it may be just me. The Ed definately on hers is lower and closer. They both mount up to stock seat mounts and i cant reply as to pillion as we both have stocks there......I will get pics as soon as I can

The mounting hardware for the rider seat is identical to stock.

Drew says I can borrow his Ultimate with the new green studs while he is out of town. You may like the ED Touring model. Check their website. http://edseatsusa.com[/quote]

Oh it looks awesome but that is about 25% of what I paid for my whole bike

Just for the Touring model, not for the Standard or the Low Forward.

I have the Mustang and would love to get something softer. Its an OK seat and I love having a backrest but I would like to be a little farther away and sit a little less upright. Since the backrest mounts into the front seat it also gets a little hard there on a long ride. I was hoping there would be others at the M&G that had other seats to actually sit on before spending the kind of change needed to actually buy one

I have the ED Big Tour, with handle bar riser's, I'm 6'1" with a 33" inseem, and my bike fit's me like a glove, your welcome to swing a leg over it at the M&G. Maybe take it for a ride.I also have the ED backrest. Not for sale, but your welcome to try it.

Hey Shore, I have a Saddleman seat that I bought, road about 300 mile's and took it back off because it pushed me to far forward, with a ratchet, and your front bracket hardware, it will mount right up to your bike, your welcome to try it, and if you want it, I will make ya one hell of a deal!!
Let me know, I'll bring it to the M&G.

Sure, bring it if it's not too much trouble. I'm leaning toward ED or Ultimate.
