He is another one that sure is proud of that bike at 7K. He said it had extra's, and it clearly does have the extra HC.

I'm just saying I look at your bike Davej with all that you have done and to me it looks like it's worth way more then $7,000

That bike for sale has custom wheels. Ever priced custom wheels? I paid $1,100 just for the front wheel on my wife's trike. Then you look at the fenders and some of the other mods he has done and all that stuff adds up fast. I personally wouldn't take less then $14,000 for my wife's trike and I wouldn't sell my 02 for anything less then $7,000. Personally I wish people would stop selling R*'s for cheap. That way the demand and price of resale would go up on our bikes. Face it there built dam good why should they go for cheap?

I think it was worth the $8,000 but you wanted to unload it so you lowered the price to get it to move. But just think if you were to put a paint job on it, custom fenders, custom wheels and some of the other mods that have been done to that other bike what would you feel your old bike would have been worth then???

Don't take me wrong I see what he has done and understand what it cost for some of the things he has done. I think he is gonna have to find that 1 person that is looking for someone elses build and just can't do without it. I also wish that our bikes didn't sell so cheap. Whenever I do try to sell mine someday I will need to find that same sort of person to recoup some of what I have invested. What mine is worth to me and what I could sell it for are 2 different numbers. I guess that is why I never thought about what it may be worth to sell.

I met a guy that had that axle on his R* and had his right leg amputated at the right knee but had a prosthetic from there down. Looked more like a pipe with a foot on it. The way he had it was no fenders big fat tires and really look BAD. If I get to where I can't hod the bike up I want to do that if I can afford it.
