Hey guys, Is there a simple way to see if my speedstar carb is a 42mm or a 45mm? Im assuming the 45mm would be obviously huge.

You could take it off and look for a model number, or get a set of calipers and measure the inlet side of the carb

On my HSR 45 it has a light stamping just behind that little brass vent tube and straight down from the Mikuni Lettering in your photo, thats stamped TM45. Not sure if the Speedstar have it or not however.
