So... Just how BIG is yours? 2 Years ago
Alright guys, time to take a little poll.

No need to be shy, we're all friends here and we've seen'em before. Besides, it's not like we don't all have one... Well most of us... So tell us, especially those of you with exceptionally big ones, just how BIG is yours??? ...Your Main jet that is. [What the hell did you think I was referring to??] And while you're at it, what size is your pilot jet and what groove is your clip on? Don't forget to include whether yours is a 1600 or 1700 and whether or not your jets are Mikuni. If you're not running a stock carb, then include that info as well.

Thanks and don't worry, there are no wrong answers here, this is purely out of curiosity.

They're just jealous that they have an orifice rather than an injector

Gosh, I'm so embarrassed! I don't even know. I haven't looked at it in such a long time!

I bought my first R* in '07, and my second in '10. In both cases, I was able to snag jet kits off eBay, back in the day for under $30. All I ever did was follow the instructions, and put the brass jets in that came with the kit for Stage whatever it was I was doing.

In both instances, the bike ran perfect afterward... and I never recorded what I put in my carbs or how I set anything!

And, if you think I'm going to take them off and open them up at this point in time, when they both run so incredibly well... well, you KNOW what would happen next!!! (If it ain't broke... fix it 'til it IS broke! )
