Gas cap problem, lost screw. 10 Months ago
Last time I filled bike the gas cap was extremly hard to remove. I just removed it to figure it out why and one of the screws is missing, possibly fell out in the tank I assume. I fixed cap with another screw that matched the one that was still in cap. I am meeting another clinic member tomorrow and just want to know if the screw could plug my fuel supply? I have a full tank of fuel and don't wanna remove tank to dump or look around inside for screw tonight. I have no idea what the fuel pick up looks like.

Bike was bought used and I honestly don't know if the fuel cap had 2 screws when I got bike.. cap has always been messed up but I assumed it was just old, never looked into it until it didn't wanna open last fill.

you are good to go. fuel enters the petcock through screened stand tubes. use a long handle magnet to fish the screw our of the tank fro the fill hole when you get around to it
