Can anyone tell ..me what kind of tree is in the picture of Knutselsmurf's black bike....very unusual...

and back on topic, it's folks like you that will keep the clinic alive........

They call them Monkey Tail or Monkey Puzzle trees here in Washington state where we have them. Look it up.

Araucaria araucana is an evergreen tree growing to 1–1.5 m in diameter and 30–40 m in height. It is native to central and southern Chile, western Argentina. Araucaria araucana is the hardiest species in the conifer genus Araucaria. Wikipedia

Thank you! I know it seems crazy but that has been bugging me ever since I saw it...we don't have any in Tn. as far as I know....

Indeed, called the monkey-tree.

And they are very hard and sharp. So you don't look just to the bike but also the surroundings.
