Quest, a couple of us sympathized with you. The rest seem to be cut from the same cloth as the ebay vendor.
Why not drop it and accept the fact that you, me and the few others have principals that have been proven to be obsolete?
Expecting anything more from people in the 21st century is as unlikely as expecting good manners.

You posted this on the open forum. now you want to complain that people disagree with you?
And, if you, like me, didn't even know there are actual 'classes' of sellers on eBay, and that the 'lower' classes should be avoided. Then, I have provided a real service to you here. Lesson learned. Next!
Count me in with TimB, I would deal with the guy on ebay. You really need to get down off the imaginary high horse. Fact is, you made the mistake. You want to say the seller is "low class". That is really funny considering he has 5855 deals on ebay with 100 percent positive rating.
As far as the people that disagree don't "have principals" comment from Spydr. I will gladly keep my own principals. I own my mistakes and don't expect others to pay the price for them. People wanting to be coddled is exactly what is wrong in today's world. This ebay deal is a prime example.

I don't have an issue with the whole "No return policy" or the thought of Harold made the mistake, but the ASSHOLE replies from the seller over the situation are totally uncalled for. He simply needed to refer to his No return policy that is clearly written in the ad and call it a day. I personally try to avoid buying from anyone with a no return policy. But sometimes it happens and if I'm not happy with the purchase I eat it and life goes on. Someone will buy it from me sometime down the road and everyone will be happy.

Same here. The no returns policy is fine. Getting personally demeaning is not. Who wants to deal with someone that will repeatedly bash you on a personal level? Why not simply state "sorry no returns is clearly written" and move on. If he hadn't felt the need to keep being a dick I wouldn't see a problem.

As a psychologist I can tell you what 8t sounds like to me. The seller may have borderline personality disorder and that is something that can't be treated, medicated only managed. Once you are satin in his eyes that's it. Just forget it. Sell your new gr I'll ps on ebay and buy some others.

That seems ignorant, considering you only know the BS spouted by Questcap. No way you are a PROFESSIONAL. Really a sad answer from you.

You need to stop believing what you read on the internet. People lie here just as much, if not more, than in person.

He will not even acknowledge he made the mistake and should eat it. He has sat on the forum and vilified this guy and even implied that he wants all of you to attack this seller because he was "dissed" ? I see a grown man laying on the floor throwing a tantrum because he is not getting his way !
FACT: HE MADE THE MISTAKE, and has belittled the seller because the seller stuck to the rules. Sounds like he probably did the same thing in the communication to the seller.
Like Tim said, people believe anything. I have always said, 99.9 percent are followers. This is like Politics, people believe anything.
No one here knows the whole story. From the very first post made here from Questcap: " disrespecting me by saying, "I'm tired of your threats Harold..." ! Well like Tim. I contacted the seller. Seems like a nice guy to me. Contact him and get the other side of the story.
I have dealt with buyers like this. They want to window shop and make you pay the shipping and ebay fees just because they think they are at Walmart. I went to a no return policy as well just because of that.
Just like the seat example I gave, would any of you want to constantly eat shipping fees and ebay fees because of people doing this?
He has over FIVE THOUSAND POSITIVE feedbacks, I am sure the guy must be terrible. Sigh.
I am done on this topic.
