Harley Fairing on the Road Star 9 Years, 1 Month ago
This thread discusses the Content article: Harley Fairing on the Road Star

Can anyone tell me if there are any issues with routeing the throttle and clutch cables thru the fairing holes?

I maybe be confused, are you wanting to route them through the holes vs in between the fairing and the tank?

Since I didnt use the HD fairing on mine I will let one of the guys using an HD inner and outter address that. On the Ultra Classic the clutch cable is ran into the fairing but the Brake cable runs down the tree.

I didn't on mine but would see why you couldn't seem to be plenty of slack. I would just watch that you could turn the handle bars and no binding happens. I have pics of my fairing where it says pics. If you need anymore useless help I'm here.

I agree with Makcap. I'm using a HD outter and inner, but because I've made mine a 'quick remove' type job, my cables route in the space between the bottom of the outter and the upper tripple tree.

This the guys that was making them. A69Cougar you can find him over the Road Star riders forum on Delphi. I heard he no longers makes them, but you can sometimes find someone selling a set over there. You can also check the Ultra Star forum on Delphi. I have seen sets sold there also. JW

I see makecap gave you his email. Good luck and let us know if he still makes them.
