Durafix- WOW! This belongs in EVERYONE'S toolbox! 3 Weeks, 6 Days ago
I wish I'd heard about this stuff years ago, it almost seems to good to be true. As someone who neither has, nor knows how to use welding equipment, Durafix looks amazing and all you need is a propane torch. How is this not more widely known? It's better than JB Weld.

Who here has used it? Do tell about your experience.

Propane for sure or acetylene? There’s a temperature difference.

http://www.durafix.com

All you need is a hand held propane type torch for small pieces.

Produces a sound joint that is stronger than the parent metal.

No fluxes are required.

There are no fumes.

Low 732°F. working temperature.

Joins thin or thick parts
.

I'm thinking this is the stuff you see at every trade show.

The guy amazes you by filling a hole in a tin can, makes it look so easy.

Then we take it home and spend the whole afternoon trying to figure out how he did it.

Impressive. Re-threading the hole with a bolt was really cool.
