Same here. I didnt think that road was anything too special although it was a very nice road. We have tons like it in the sierras. Im going to have to get my gopro going now.

GoPro videos don’t even come close to capturing the feel of most nice routes. Not sure what it is about videoing but a ton gets lost for sure. I watched the video that I posted and you can’t even tell that the elevation changes that much. Curves look like nothing as well. Dragon videos look the same. Most of the feel of the ride gets lost.

When you’re there in person, different story. I’ve heard several stories of guys who won’t even ride some of these roads because it makes them so uncomfortable. I think Grant was telling the story of a guy who was so freaked out on 129 that he just froze up somewhere in the middle of it and couldn’t move at all.
